Walking With HER is entering a new chapter.

Over time, this space has grown alongside my broader work in Restoration Psychology™, research, teaching, speaking, and service. As that work has expanded, it has become increasingly important to give each part of it a clearer home and a clearer purpose.

Walking With HER is becoming the place where restoration is experienced personally.

Walking with HER logo

It is a women-centered space for growth, reflection, connection, learning, and meaningful next steps. Through courses, events, articles, resources, assessments, and other opportunities for engagement, Walking With HER is designed to help women better understand what they are carrying and consider what restoration may look like in their own lives.

This does not mean every resource will be limited only to women. Some articles, courses, and educational materials may also be valuable to partners, family members, friends, professionals, and others who want to better understand and support the women in their lives.

But the heart of Walking With HER is becoming clearer.

It is a space created with women in mind.

For the woman who keeps showing up.

For the woman who carries responsibilities that others may not always see.

For the woman who has learned how to function well while carrying more than she should have to carry.

For the woman who may be ready to consider what comes next.

Grounded in Restoration Psychology™

Walking With HER is grounded in Restoration Psychology™ and the 5R Restoration Model™, which focus on understanding how people move from adversity toward restoration and human flourishing.

Rather than asking only whether someone has survived or adapted, this work asks deeper questions:

What are you carrying?

What has helped you keep going?

What may no longer be serving you?

Where might restoration be possible now?

Those questions are becoming central to the next chapter of Walking With HER.

Introducing the Online What Are You Carrying?™ Assessment

What Are You Carrying logo

One of the first new ways to engage is the online What Are You Carrying?™ assessment.

Understanding what we carry is often the first step toward restoration.

What Are You Carrying?™ is the first assessment in the Restoration Assessment Suite™ and is designed to provide a snapshot of your current restoration across the Five Dimensions of Restoration™.

The assessment invites you to reflect on your experiences over the past 30 days and consider patterns related to:

After completing the assessment, your responses are reviewed and used to create your Restoration Profile™, including your Overall Restoration Index, your strongest current dimension, and the area that may represent your greatest opportunity for restoration at this point in time.

The purpose is not to label or diagnose you.

It is to help you see more clearly.

Your results are designed to support reflection, increase self-awareness, and help you identify where intentional attention may be most meaningful next.

What Walking With HER Will Become

As the website continues to evolve, Walking With HER will increasingly become a home for:

  • Courses and guided learning experiences

  • Events and workshops

  • Articles and practical resources

  • Restoration-focused assessments

  • Women-centered personal growth experiences

  • Small-group opportunities

  • Tools for reflection and application

  • Resources for people who want to better support the women in their lives

Some of these offerings will be free. Others will be paid experiences designed to provide deeper learning, reflection, and engagement.

The goal is not simply to create more content.

The goal is to create meaningful pathways for women to move from awareness toward restoration.

A Clearer Home for Each Part of the Work

This shift is also part of a larger effort to create a clearer structure across the different parts of my work.

DrShannonImhofClark.com serves as my professional home for research, teaching, speaking, academic collaboration, professional development, and other scholarly and professional work.

RestorationPsychologyInstitute.com serves as the scholarly and professional home of Restoration Psychology™, including research, assessment, education, and the continued development of the field.

WalkingWithHER.com is becoming the experience: the place where women can engage with courses, events, articles, assessments, resources, and personal growth opportunities grounded in this work.

ForHERThroughHim.com represents the mission: a faith-rooted nonprofit focused on supporting women facing adversity and helping expand access to encouragement, practical support, and opportunities for restoration.

Each part has a different purpose, but they remain connected by the same larger commitment to restoration, resilience, and human flourishing.

This Is Only the Beginning

Walking With HER will continue to grow over the coming months.

New courses, events, resources, and opportunities for engagement will be added gradually, with an emphasis on thoughtful, research-informed experiences rather than simply adding more material.

For now, one of the best places to begin is with a simple question:

What are you carrying?

Iconic Backpack of Life Walking with HER

If you are ready to take that first step, the online What Are You Carrying?™ assessment is now available.
